Our Board members are well versed in the organization’s history, vision, mission, and value as well as on top of relevant trends in the industry. Collectively, they are members of proven integrity and experience to guide the management appropriately.

The staffs are also carefully selected to meet the changing environment of service and technology provisions. They are trained and retrained in the culture and core values of the company. Cletus Uzodimah Egbuzie (B.Sc, M.Sc (Pet Eng); Member: SPE, NSE, COREN)
Cletus U. Egbuzie is the Chief Executive Officer of newly founded WECE Petroleum Engineering Services Ltd (WECE Petroleum). WECE Petroleum is a Petroleum Engineering Company registered in Nigeria as a professional consulting services firm specialising in providing subsurface geological and engineering solutions to the oil and gas industry.

Prior to his retirement after 33 years of meritorious service with Mobil Producing Nigeria (MPN), a subsidiary of ExxonMobil Production Company (ExxonMobil), Cletus was the General Manager in charge of Operations Technical Subsurface and before that he was General Manager in charge of Plans, Programs & New Business Development. He held numerous technical, managerial and leadership positions in both Lagos and Houston in areas of Reservoir Engineering Management and Strategic Planning. He managed projects worth over $1.5Bm (Capital & Operating) while technically supporting the production of over 600 thousand bpd of total liquid.

During the Exxon and Mobil merger in 1998, Cletus worked as Strategic Business Analyst/Advisor to the Managing Director. In that capacity, he demonstrated ability in multi-tasking in Asset Enhancement, Valuation, and Portfolio Optimization by developing a 5-year Company Strategic Plan that ensured timely delivery on projects, improvement in business processes, and creation of a value-based system and culture.

Apart from seating on the Advisory Board of Offshore West Africa Conference, he also seats on the Petroleum Engineering Advisory Boards of the African University of Science and Technology, Abuja; and Institute of Petroleum Studies of the University of Port Harcourt. He is a long standing member of the several professional engineering bodies including Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE); Nigeria Society of Nigeria (NSE); and Council for the Registration of Engineering in Nigeria (COREN). In 2014, he was an SPE Distinguished Leadership Award recipient for outstanding performance and in 2016, he delivered the Guest Induction Lecture at the 13th Induction Ceremony of the Institute of Petroleum Studies of the University of Port Harcourt.

He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Natural Gas Engineering (with Cum Laude Honors) from Texas A & I University (now Texas A&M University), Kingsville, Texas; and a Master’s degree in Petroleum Engineering from University of Oklahoma, Norman Oklahoma. He has attended several technical, management, and leadership development and certification programmes from reputable institutions of learning within and outside Nigeria.

He is happily married to Rosemary – a fellow of Nigeria Society of Visual Artists, and they are both blessed with five children.

Eze Paul Wanorue B.Sc., M.Sc., Petroleum Engineering
Eze Paul Wanorue is the Chief Operating Officer of WECE Petroleum Engineering Services Ltd. A Petroleum Engineering Company registered in Nigeria as a consulting firm specializing in providing subsurface, geological and engineering solutions to the oil and gas industry. He retired from ExxonMobil in January 2014, after more than 33 years with diverse and international experiences in both managerial and technical disciplines. He was retained by Exxonmobil to provided consultancy services for the Company immediately after retirement from Feb. 2014 to Jan. 2015 on: Reservoir Management, Performance and Production Optimization, Data Management, Reserves Evaluation and Validation, Reservoir Description and Characterization, Reservoir Simulation, IPM and Well Modeling, Opportunity Generation and Maturation, Enhanced Hydrocarbon Recovery, New Field Development, etc. In this role, Eze provided mentoring to MOBIL PRODUCING NIGERIA (MPN) staff across the various Subsurface, Geoscience, Surface, Drilling and Operations groups.

Prior to his retirement, Eze was one of the few Senior Technical Professional (STP) Advisors in ExxonMobil Upstream Companies. In this role, he provided mentoring and technical leadership on Reservoir Management, Surveillance, Production Optimization, and Data Management across ExxonMobil worldwide. He provided technical leadership on all MPN Field Performance and Reserves reviews for both the JV and Deep Water assets including workshops with NNPC & DPR. As Reservoir Engineering Advisor working at ExxonMobil, Central Technology Organization in Houston (Jan 2005 – Aug 2007), Eze contributed immensely to the financing and development of MPN Satellite Fields Phase 2 by working with Netherland Sewell & Associates Inc. to validate the Reserves for the various fields. He also coordinated Chad Development Projects to maximize Production and Reserves with integration of Satellite Field developments and numerous facility challenges. He successfully reevaluated and revised the Reserves figures of many Operated By Others (OBO) fields and convinced management and Co-Venturers for their redevelopment, resulting in Millions of barrel of reserves add and substantial production uplifts.

Eze, played a critical role in the formation of the Reservoir Technology Group (RTG) in MPN and was the first Supervisor in charge of all ExxonMobil Reserves analysis including Reserves Audits (both internal and external), and Simulation Studies in Nigeria. Prior to this assignment, he held the following management and technical positions: Reservoir Engineering Supervisor, Oso Asset Team Coordinator, Capacity Enhancement Coordinator, Lead Engineer - Special Study Team, etc. His experience covers wide range of complex sandstone reservoirs across the Niger Delta basin to complex carbonate fractured reservoirs in the USA.

Eze is an experienced mentor, coach, respected technical leader. He has designed and delivered several training sessions in Reservoir Engineering topics. He authored / co-authored several published technical papers. He is a recognized Senior Technical Professional (STP) Advisors in Reservoir Engineering. He also received Advanced Professional Skills Award and ExxonMobil Upstream Professional Development Committee Award, for the development of colleagues and service to the engineering profession.

He holds B.Sc. & M.Sc.degrees in Petroleum Engineering from University of Southern California, USA. He has attended several technical, management, and leadership development and certification programmes from reputable institutions of learning within and outside Nigeria. He is happily married to Ruth and blessed with children.

Ebho Abure
Ebho ABURE had his early career as an international Technical Engineer with Dowell Schlumberger (a subsidiary of the Schlumberger Group). He was trained as a Technical Engineer in the Company's training school in Bottlesford in the United Kingdom, and served after the specialist training in Brazil, Abu Dhabi and Pakistan.

On return to Nigeria, he joined Aret ADAMS (late) and co-founded Multinational Expertise Ltd in 1991 serving as its' pioneer Executive Director (Operations). He supervised the Company's branch operations in Warri and Port Harcourt and the business development activities and operations in the Head office in Lagos. He was named Deputy Managing Director in 1996 when the Company had blossomed and became known as Multinational Technologies Ltd.

In 1998 he became the Managing Director/CEO of the Company when the Chairman/Managing Director was appointed Special Adviser of Petroleum by the Nigerian Government. He served the company till September 2003 and later left and formed Baseline Energy Services Limited as an Integrated Company that offers ancillary support services to the Oil and Gas industry.

Mr. ABURE graduated from Texas A & I University in Kingsville Texas (now part of the TEXAS A&M UNIVERSITY SYSTEM) in Natural Gas Engineering with honors (CUM LAUDE) in August of 1979. Thereafter, he proceeded to the University of Oklahoma in Norman Oklahoma, where he obtained a Masters’ degree in Petroleum Engineering in December 1980.

Mr. Abure has attended several Executive and Management Development programs at the Lagos Business School Victoria Island, Edwin L. Cox School of Business of the Southern Methodist University USA, and the American Graduate School of International Management sponsored by Thunderbird Executive Education U.S.A, and other institutions. He has served on a number of Boards including those of GASLINK NIGERIA LTD, MTI OIL and GAS Ltd, GOLDENPOND CONCEPTS LTD, ATLANTIC OCEANIC SERVICES LTD and a host of other Companies.

Mr. ABURE is also a member of many professional bodies including the Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE), the Nigerian Society of Engineers (NSE), and other social-cultural organizations and Clubs. He is the Project Director for the WECE Petroleum Engineering Services Ltd.

Chief Bert I. Douglas B.Sc, (Pet Eng); Member: SPE, NSE, COREN
Bert I. Douglas is currently the Chairman of the newly founded WECE Petroleum Engineering Services Ltd (WECE Petroleum). WECE Petroleum is a Petroleum Engineering Company registered in Nigeria as a professional consulting services firm specialising in providing subsurface geological and engineering solutions to the oil and gas industry.

Chief Bert Douglas is an international energy expert and a renowned consultant to the industry with over 35 years of continuous and relevant experiences. He has maintained his relevance through the promotion of global best practices and technologies in petroleum engineering with emphasis on reservoir fluid analysis and its development. His wealth of technical knowledge gathered over the years has prepared and positioned him to take WECE Petroleum to the desired level.

In addition to his current role, Bert Douglas is the Managing Director and Chairman, Reservoir Fluids Laboratory Nigeria Ltd, Port Harcourt with the responsibility for the set-up of new technologies and operation of the Company. He is also the Chairman of Lasan Marine Nig. Ltd: a marketing and operator of various types of vessels such as Crew Boats, Anchor Handling, Tug Supply vessels (AHTSV) Platform Supply Vessel (PSV), Fast Security Patrol Vessels, Diving support Vessels (DSV), Tug Boats and Barges. Mr. Bert Douglas also sits in the Board of SEVEN ENERGY NIG.LTD an LCV company in OPL 322.

Prior to the Chairmanship to these Boards, he was President/CEO, Reservoir Fluids Laboratory, Houston, Texas, with the responsibility for the set-up and day to day operation of the Company. He taught classes on phase behavior to oil company employees and SPE technical sessions. He got heavily involved in Laboratory work and field trials of miscible EOR field pilot projects in the United States in the late‘80s. In the early ‘80s, he was Technical Manager, Reservoir Fluid Services, Energy Resource Company (NL Industries) Houston, Texas, with similar responsibilities as in Reservoir Fluids Laboratory, Houston, but at a lower scale. It is nice to mention here that Bert worked as a Research Engineer, Institute of Research, Houston Texas, on the Development of improved oil recovery methods.

Bert holds leadership positions in several organisations. He is a long standing member of the several professional engineering bodies including Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE); where he served as a member of the Editorial Committee as well as in the American Institute of Chemical Engineers. He was also a member of the Review Committee for the SPE Phase Behavior Monograph Technical Review Committee.

He holds a Bachelor’s and Maters degrees in Petroleum Engineering University of Kansas, Lawrence, Kansas, USA. He has attended several technical, management, and leadership development and certification programmes from reputable institutions of learning within and outside Nigeria.

Dr Emenike C.I. EJIMUDA B.Sc., M.Sc., PhD (Geophysics- Imperial College, London)
Emenike Ejimuda is the Chief Geology/Geophysical Manager of WECE Petroleum Engineering Services Ltd. A Petroleum Engineering Company registered in Nigeria as a consulting firm specializing in providing subsurface, geological and engineering solutions to the oil and gas industry. He retired from ExxonMobil in December 2006, after more than 20 years with diverse and international experiences in both managerial and technical disciplines. He was engaged by Laser Petroleum Geoscience Centre to provided consultancy services on: Elements of Seismic Interpretation, Reservoir Management, Data Management, Reserves Evaluation/Validation, Reservoir Description and Characterization, New Field Development, etc.

Prior to his retirement, Ejimuda provided mentoring and technical leadership on Reservoir Management, Surveillance, Production Optimization, and Data & Record Management across ExxonMobil worldwide. Specifically and in his technical capacity, he acquired, processed, and delivered working (work station) copies of three 3D seismic Surveys, namely, OPL 221 (phases I and II) and OPL 215, each covering over 3,000sq km in size. Emenike supervised the seismic operations (acquisition and processing) projects of the JV partners, ensuring that the seismic survey design meets industry best practice during his time at NAPIMS from early 90s. He also worked as an acquisition seismologist, acquiring seismic data for multi-national oil companies comprising of many high resolution 2D and 3D surveys. Emenike acquired the first 96-trace 2D seismic in Nigeria at Abissa for Shell BP.

Thereafter, Dr. Emenike Ejimuda took the leadership of Data and Record Management of Mobil Producing Nigeria, where he demonstrated his capacity and capabilities to develop and implement standardized policies and procedures in handling Exploration and Production enormous data and records. Emenike had the responsibility to coordinate the capture of raw geoscience and engineering data, its preparation, and transfer into corporate repository and consequently making them easily accessible and useable. He also managed the capture of geoscience and engineering data at project milestones for the benefit of the geoscience and engineering users as well as ensured the controlled and authorized access to users.

Dr. Emenike Ejimuda played a critical role in preparing ExxonMobil Nigeria for the roll out of corporate records management guidelines by reducing redundancies/duplication of records. This reduced the record count by as much as 40%. He also initiated the implementation of ExxonMobil records management policy for Nigeria by first rolling out a record management database to capture, organize records and track any record in the database.

Dr. Emenike Ejimuda is a seasoned lecturer/associated professor that taught Petroleum Geology (Federal University of Technology, Owerri and University of Jos); Applied Geophysics (M.Sc. program - University of Port Harcourt). He has designed and delivered several training sessions in Petroleum Geology and Geophysics. He authored / co-authored several published technical papers.

He holds B.Sc. in Geology (2nd Class Honors Upper Division). He also earned M.Sc. in Applied Geophysics and a PhD degree in Geophysics from Imperial college of Science and Technology, London. He has attended several technical, management, and leadership development and certification programs from reputable institutions of learning within and outside Nigeria.

He is happily married to Ifeoma and they are both blessed with seven children.
